The Bakehouse Family
Camilla has always loved baking, ever since she could sift flour and spoon out jam, she has been fattening up the rest of her family! At 17 deciding she was going to take the plunge into what was just a hobby, she enrolled in Sheffield University to ‘study’ Culinary Arts. Whilst there she entered as many competitions as possible and Won Gold at the Young Chef of the Year in London!!This fuelled the fire to go on and work at Michelin Star ‘Fischers Restaurant’ in Baslow and later at the 5* Cowarth Park, Dorchester Collection Hotel in Ascot. Once gaining confidence in her own style and ability she went on an adventure to the Luxury Chalets of Courcheval in France to cook for the rich and famous… and quickly realised this wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. It was then she decided it was time to open up her own place and show everyone what she could do! Et voila… The Bridge Bakehouse was born!
Courtney has always been the charmer of the family with her fun and enthusiastic character and her passion for making new friends and meeting new people… the Bakehouse couldn’t have been fronted by anyone else! She has worked with the public in retail from a young age and flew through Management & Customer Service NVQs to add extra strings to her bow. Everyone who ever visits The Bridge Bakehouse will know Courtney by the time they leave! Her personality and happy demeanour is one of the biggest reasons for the businesses success and compliments Camilla’s amazing Patisserie skills wonderfully.
